Los Angeles CA - [April 12, 2006] - Diamond Valley Lake's new state-of-the-art Western Center for Archaeology and Paleontology Museum, has awarded the storage solution contract to McMurray Stern, the exclusive Spacesaver Area Contractor for the Greater Los Angeles Area. Spacesaver's newly developed Eclipse [TM] powered system is due for installation in mid-2006. This solution is in alignment with the center's goal of collection preservation, interpretation, and presentation of archaeological and paleontological artifacts and fossils.
With the development of the Diamond Valley Lake area in Hemet , thousands of artifacts were discovered dating as early as the Ice Age. The Western Center for Archaeology and Paleontology with its 33,000 square foot space, has designed a way to present amenities for research, curation, and presentation of the nearly 1,000,000 specimens discovered. The center immerses the public from the parking lot to the lobby displaying a geological timeline. "McMurray Stern is honored to be apart of this historical process of providing solutions that will help in the preservation of these priceless artifacts and fossils for education and research," said Matt Denburg, Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing for McMurray Stern. |
